Just a short 17 minute drive down the I-5, our hotel is a short trip to the Honda Center in Anaheim. Previously known as the Pond at Anaheim, the Honda Center is the home of the 2007 Stanely Cup champions, the Anaheim Ducks.
Originally named by Disney after the movie The Mighty Ducks (hence the former name of the arena: the Pond!), the Anaheim Ducks’ arena is also called “the Ponda” by fans! Over ten miles of piping runs under the arena’s concrete floor, and a special solution is piped under the floor to quickly freeze the concrete. It takes about 30 hours to transform the Honda Center into a hockey arena.
In addition to the NHL team, the Honda Center hosts a wide variety of concerts put on by top acts from around world, as well as seasonal events and family-friendly spectaculars. It has hosted thousands of events, with over thirty millions guests visiting so far! Book tickets and learn more at the Honda Center.
Parking at the Honda Center is $20. From our hotel you can take the I-5 to exit 109B or Disney Way, and then follow Cerritos Ave as it curves into Douglass, right to the Honda Center on the right.
You can dine back at the hotel in our hotel restaurant, or eat at one of the Honda Center’s two restaurants. The Shock Top Terrace is open to all guests, and reservations can be made up to 30 days before an event, however only Passholders may make reservations prior to a Ducks game. The Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Club is an exclusive restaurant for Premium Seat Holders. No outside food is allowed in the arena.
